The wait is over
Team USA is excited to announce that it will begin the official training process for the 19th World Kendo Championships, to be held in Milan, Italy on July 4th-7th, 2024.
Team USA will start with a series of Team USA Prospects Training Camps for those kenshi interested in joining Team USA and representing the United States at the World Kendo Championships as follows:
November 5-6th, 2022: in Washington D.C.
December 3-4, 2022: in Long Beach, CA
February 4-5, 2023: in Englewood, NJ
May 6-7, 2023: in Long Beach, CA (Final Selection)
These Training Camps will be open to all kenshi 15 years and above (minors will require adult supervision during the camps). In addition to official members of Team USA, this time Team USA plans to also select certain kenshi under 21-years old to participate in a Team USA Youth Program to cultivate the next generation of Team USA kenshi – so please consider joining even if you are under 21 years old!!
The final selection tryouts for Team USA are scheduled for May 6-7 in Long Beach, CA. Participation in previous Team USA Prospects Training Camps are not required to enter the Final Selection Tryouts. Click here to sign up!
